48-year-old Ruth Osborn is UK’s deepest woman in ‘free immersion’ freediving. She descends and ascends using only the line and her body. She wears no tanks or fins.
Ruth started competing aged 42. Within 3 years she had beaten the UK record, held for 15 years, diving to an astonishing depth of 82m on a single breath. She now wants to break more records by diving even deeper.
We follow Ruth as she trains for the World Championships. Calming her mind and slowing her body while under intense pressure is the key. Leading experts will study her body and brain as she explores her physical and mental capabilities. The techniques she refines and the practices she deepens are tools that she believes can be used by anyone to help cope with the stresses of modern life.

Capturing the refurbishment of world-legendary Livingston ‘Livi’ skatepark we start to experience the impact Livi has on women’s skateboarding in Scotland and the long overdue barriers that are broken.

Community project involving the creation and community screening of an observational film on the history and refurbishment of Livingston skatepark, digitising existing archive on Livi and creation of a multimedia website about Livi.
